LGBTQ+ youth and adults face greater stress due to discrimination, which often leads to mental health challenges and higher rates of tobacco addiction. The tobacco industry knows this and has deliberately targeted LGBTQ+ people.

FIGHTING BIG TOBACCO IN THE BAY AREA
LGBTQ Minus Tobacco fights the tobacco industry’s targeting of LGBTQ+ people. We educate about policies that prevent youth from getting addicted to nicotine and protect everyone from secondhand smoke.
Currently, our project is working in the Bay Area cities of Livermore and Pleasant Hill.
We are also supporting coalition efforts in San Francisco.
